Shard

Shattered it aches, 

My heart breaks! 

Like a large sheet of glass

Smashes, leaving me aghast!

Pieces scattered around.. 

There's no sound.. 

There is no evidence

Of the haunting voidance!!

It's bleeding profusely, 

Pain spreads diffusely. 

Shard beyond repair, 

In agonising despair! 

I shall pick up the morsel

Of what was once colourful

And a healthy, glorified heart!

I shall mend it smart, 

Restore it back..

To conceal the crack!!

With efforts docile, 

I shall smile! 

Till one day surreal, 

The agony does heal.. 

My heart shall  again shine 

Like a glass ornament divine!
