Another lovely weekly challenge by @writers_united, describing 2020 in 5 emotions, one emotion per day. I found this challenge so theuraptic, to like capture this epic year in a nutshell through my expressions, I have to say I did enjoy this a lot!!

Day 1:Anxiety.

Loss of routine,

Completely trapped indoors.

No break from children:

Online schooling made mornings chaos!!

News always intensifying

With the virus spreading uncontrollable!

Counting our blessings for being safe:

Did help somewhat to reduce the stress level!!

Day 2: gratitude.

Pandemic taught us all gratitude

For blessings we never before did realise..

Gratitude for the security

Of the walls that protect us indoors.

Gratitude of the humblest meals

         While many struggled for basics!

Gratitude for our kith and kin

So many lost in thier loneliness.

Gratitude for good health

We realised playing hide and seek with the cheeky virus

     During this PANDEMIC!!!

Day 3:adventure

In the midst of

Monotony

Routine

Stagnance..

I took off on a venture

Into the virtual world!

In the corner of my

House

Room

Bed...

I began an excrusion

And leapt further into my journey towards

MY POETIC PLACE!!!

Day 4 :confusion

2020 has been a year of confusions,

Never ending questions...

Where did the virus start?

How did it start?

How does it spread?

How do we stop the spread?

How do we check if someone's positive?

How do we cure them?

How do we contain this?

How do we make the vaccine?

How is the vaccine to be introduced?

How do we know about the side effects?

How? how? how? how?

One question after another!!!

Day 5:hopefulness.

If theres one thing 2020 taught me

Is to not lose hope..

Even in the most hopeless times

Hold onto the light of hope..

Hope on Almighty, keep faith!

Hope on your loved ones, stay united!

Hope on the learned, they will keep striving for progress!

Hope on our protectors, so proud of how they do performed the duties!

Through this pandemic I leant

To believe, to trust, to have faith..

No matter how dark today looks

Have hope that tomorrow will show you the way!
