Decorated scars.

Like an intricate mandala

That overlaps layers upon layers

Of miniature designs and details

Is exactly how I decorate my scars!

Designs of hopeful outlook

Details of positivity and resilience-

Within my soul are countless mandalas.

Deeper the scar is engraved, 

The more magnificent the design that illuminates it!

I wish to embrace all my cracks,

All the bruises :old and new-

Evolve them by spinning over them

New found layers of colourful respect.

Never cease till every ounce within me

Is acknowledged and decorated, 

So that not a single scar goes in vain

Of the lesson it was destined to teach me!!
